February 1, 2020 - 141 - "It's a Sign"

Ever have one of those days where everything seems funny?*

The other day we went to Westside Cafe for some 'Country Cookin'.  It's a good place if you're in the market for biscuits and gravy or chicken fried steak.  It's interesting how you can pretty much translate "Country Cookin'" to mean:  full of carbs and fat.

I noticed in the same little shopping center there was a sign for an Unfinished Furniture store.  I've seen this sort of sign a thousand times but for some reason I couldn't picture items that needed painting...but tables with just two legs on them, lamps without wiring, or chairs without backs.

This was a sign for another storefront in the center.

I've never had much desire to get a tattoo.  Mainly because I've never thought of one that sounded cute or cool for more than about five minutes.

But, if I ever did decide to get one manage to drink enough for one to sound like a good idea...  I am positive I wouldn't be able to drink enough for me to choose 'Bonehead' to do any permanent artistry on any part of my body.

And just to fully illustrate how hilarious everything seemed...I could have sworn I first read that Grandmother Won Park was the one teaching Taekwondo.

"I no longer believe that just about everything is funny, if viewed from the proper angle."

"Everything I buy is vintage nd smells funny.  Maybe that's why I don't have a boyfriend."

-Lucy Liu

*Today nothing seems funny - I woke up at 4 a.m. and I can barely sit upright, much less string two words together.
*...but I've posted every day for 141 days and I can't quit now.
