November 22, 2019 - 70 - "Happy Marriage By Design"

Environment is so important to the human experience.

I know there have been families of 8 who shared one bathroom, and my hats are off to them, but that, personally, sounds like my idea of hell.

To me this bathroom just screams:

Unhappily Married Couple...

...while this bathroom has "Wedded Bliss" written all over it.

It's not about color or about the materials used in a bathroom.

It's not about how expensive the fixtures are.

It's all down to having two sinks, two mirrors, and a little bit of counter space.  (Though...this bathroom could use more counter space.  I've rarely seen a bathroom with too much counter space.)

This is going to be my advice at wedding showers from now on...

For a happy marriage give each other space, both physically and mentally.  Starting with the physical space aim for these things:

Master bath must haves:
    -two sinks
    -two mirrors
    -plenty of counter space

Household must have:

-at least two toilets  (It's okay to share a bathroom...but when you're coming home after a long drive in the car and you both need to use the bathroom...the race is on.)
