When Flight Attendants Work From Home

I'm sure Michael and Ella are hoping it doesn't come to this:

Already a Slacker

So far my flights are still going.  Most trips have less flights than originally scheduled but for now I'm continuing to go to work on a regular basis.

Still, appearances are going south fast over at our house.

Okay, really, it's common for me to get up, put my workout gear on...and do all sorts of things until late in the day. But  6:30 - 7 is my hard stop.  By then I have to have done my writing, my exercise, my meditation...and whatever other 328 projects I have going for the day.

I then stop, clean up, and put on something relatively acceptable for public viewing.  But, of course, by 'public' I now mean:  Michael and Ella.  Ella doesn't care what I look like, so long as I keep the Temptations treats and scratches coming her way.  Michael probably cares more...but has seen me at my best and at my worst, and doesn't get too concerned when I'm on the 'my worst' end of the spectrum.

An Extra-Fabulous Look

So the other day I've done most of my tasks for the day...but was feeling a bit resistant to getting my workout done.  The 6:30-7 time range was fast approaching and I was sporting a really fetching outfit:  rainbow tie-dye legging, hot pink shoes, a purple shirt...and a 'pony tail' attempt with a hairdo that doesn't lend itself to a ponytail.  (i.e. Not long enough, so there's a lot of tresses left out of the ponytail party...and just sort of flying around randomly.)

Me:  Do you like this outfit?

Michael:  Yeah, sure, it's great.  You could do anything in an outfit like that!

Me:  Really?  Like what?

Michael:  Well, you could workout?

Me:  I suppose I could...eventually.  But what else?

Michael:  You could work in the yard!

Me:  Yeah...the back yard maybe.  What else?

Michael:  (He struggles to find another activity for such an outfit.). You could shop at Walmart!, he says triumphantly!

Me:  Bahahahahahahaha.  Yay.  I am now a 'People of Walmart'.  (Not that I'd go out to Walmart these days...or really anywhere I'd run into people.)

---

With times being what they are, I'm wishing I got paid for my snappy workout looks.  I fear being a 'Person of Walmart' doesn't pay very well
