June 9, 2020 - 270 - "Not The Post I Intended...Again"

Disclaimer:  It's Been a Long Damn Day

     I got up at 4 a.m. today.  Dad had an appointment in Dallas.  His appointment was at 8 a.m., and he never feels we leave for anything early enough.   

     We were in the doctor's office, signed in a good 30 minutes before the appointment time.  He thought he was just getting some Xrays done, but he had a full-on medical procedure done, complete with anesthetics.  

     I was settling in to wait for him, but the nurse said it would be more than five hours by the time he was prepped, the procedure done, and they'd made sure his drugs had worn off enough to let him go.  She said I should go away, uh,  go run some errands and they'd call me.

     I was going to tell you this as a prelude to sharing my experiences shopping at Target and Walmart today.  

    But the post kept getting longer and longer and longer...and I don't have the energy to finish it.

   So here's the picture of a grumpy, woken-from-her-nap, Ella:

    I'll have to finish the Stylebook app posts, or the shopping post, or something tomorrow 'cause I can't think straight anymore.
