December 1, 2019 - 79 - "Zero Brain Power,...but I Did Get Dressed!"

Sometimes when I'm feeling a little too disorganized in my brain.  I'll think:  'Maybe I've been staring at a computer screen too long.'

That sort of thing can put a person into a powerfully lazy slump.

Then I'll get all experimental and think:  'Let's see if putting on some pants will help!'

And if I've got enough oomph to muster, that's exactly what I'll do.

---

I have been amazed by what a difference it makes.  Suddenly the world is my oyster and I can't wait to get out into it!

---

Other days, like when I'm sick for example; I'll get dressed and think:  'I could probably sleep in this outfit just as good as I would have slept in my pj's.'

---

Today I was pretty much thinking the latter.  I was up...but definitely not at'em.

---

Oh well, my cold finally seems to be winding down.

Maybe tomorrow I'll have some energy.  Maybe even some interesting thoughts.  If I do, I will definitely share them.  Please come back and see.

" 'Tis healthy to be sick sometimes."

-Henry David Thoreau

(I usually love this guy, but I have no idea what the hell he means by this.)

---

"The human brain has 100 billion neurons, each neuron connected to 10 thousand other neurons.  Sitting on your shoulders is the most complicated object in the known universe."

-Michio Kaku

(And yet...all I'm thinking is:  I'm so stuffed up, I'm so stuffed up!  When can I stop blowing my nose?" What a waste of neurons.)

  1. I am here and read every bit of your writing! Hope you are soon feeling better and I personally now want a pair of The World is My Oyster pants. Did you get the email I wrote you the day before Halloween? Snuggle up with Ella and her powerful Cat Medicine. xoxoxoxo

  2. Hey Cynthia! Thanks for reading my posts/bless your heart.
Try not to overdose on my over-posts. :-)
Hmmm...might have to get those 'World is My Oyster' pants out into the marketplace. Email the day after Halloween!? No! I did not get that. I probably set up some weird filter.
Sometimes I organize myself out of functionality.
    I'll go look now.
    Hugs from Texas, Ms. Stroo!!!
