I'm realizing how many calories I must have burned at work.   I haven't been eating that much more than normal.  All that walking and resisting the urge to roll my eyes must have really burned some calories!
This trend isn't going anywhere good.  I'm already uncomfortable in my jeans when sitting at my desk.  I constantly feel like I just had a huge Thanksgiving dinner and wish I had on sweat pants.)
Starting this morning I am doing Atkins Phase I.  It's the only eating program that ever helps me.  All that protein levels out my blood sugar, makes me feel full all the time, and reduces my sugar cravings.  Plus I get bored and feel less like eating in general.  Protein and vegetables here I come.

Dressed in Real Clothes:  5 days (2 days of going from jammies to workout clothes, to a swimsuit...and back to p.j.'s.

Weekend Observed:   2:45 p.m. Saturday to  11 a.m. on Monday.

Wins for the Week:
-Favicon did actually show up...and I changed it again...still haven't seen the change
-Visited with two friends from across a patio
    -2 Zoom chats
-Got to see Evie (grandbaby) have dinner, play, and have her bath
-Got a new feeder for Ella that dispenses both wet and dry food.  Changed her food.  She's stopped puking.  (Touching wood.)
-Mom's surgery went well, and she's cleared to go to a really good in-patient physical therapy facility
-Dad got in to see a specialist he's been waiting to see for a long time.
   -Nice visit with dad.

Could Use Improvement:
-I feel like I'm on a Slow Slide to Slothville.
-It really helps to do the daily checklists.   It makes a big difference in my focus levels.  I need to get those in every weekday.
-I have to adjust my eating plan.  I want to stay at a healthy and comfortable weight.  (And not have to buy different clothes, just when I got mine all organized!)

Daily Hits of Happy:

     - Having a day with no schedule and no goals, except to have fun and relax.

     -Rachel Platten's "Fight Song"
It comes on my exercise playlist a lot and puts a pep in my step every time.
An excellent 'dance around the house like a maniac' song.  Guaranteed to lift your spirits.

Fight Song
Rachel Platten

Like a small boat
On the ocean
Sending big waves
Into motion
Like how a single word
Can make a heart open
I might only have one match
But I can make an explosion

And all those things I didn't say
Wrecking balls inside my brain
I will scream them loud tonight
Can you hear my voice this time?

This is my fight song
Take back my life song
Prove I'm alright song
My power's turned on
Starting right now I'll be strong
I'll play my fight song
And I don't really care if nobody else believes
'Cause I still got a lot of fight left in me

But that's easier said than done."
