Far Away Places...

Uh oh.  Looks like I've come to the end of my desire to stay at home...long before I can do anything about it.

Today I found myself planning a trip.  I mean every single detail.  I don't even know why.  I just stumbled on a place with an interesting name and I was off and running.

With Strange Sounding Names...

It was Mumbles, Wales and it's the most charming little seaside town you've ever seen.

Far Away Over the Sea...

I 'drove' along The Mumbles...on Mumbles Road.  Rocky shoreline, pastel-painted cottages along the road, places to stop and eat like Gower Seafood Hut, and Joe's Ice Cream Parlor.

There are miles and miles of coastline roads to explore.  And even more inland roads.  Green hillsides dotted with sheep.  Countless small towns, each with a cool pub or bakery to check out.

I researched the fanciest places in Mumbles to make dinner reservations.  Fabulous places like Mor and Bistro Pierre.  I looked into the best place to stay:  Langland Manor House Apartment.  Enormous place with breathtaking views of the ocean.

    Money is no object.

Denied

...since we wouldn't be welcome there anyway.

Sigh.  I need to get back to focusing on what I like about home.
